Jessica Porter

I am a self-taught abstract painter with an extensive background in art and the interior design and architecture industry. Combining my love of creating art with designing unique living or workplace, I have brought my training to a new level by using my abstract paintings to create a color palette within a space as a dramatic focus.

The ‘Places Collection’ drew inspiration from my past travels - capturing the quiet beauty between architecture and nature, drawing the viewer into the somewhat recognizable location but unfamiliar place. I emphasize the colors of the landscape to create a color palette that heightens and blends with the interior design of the space. My custom compositions depict how powerful and cohesive the role of color in a space can be.

I live in Tarrytown, NY. I am a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. I have designed many spaces over my career including, residential, hospitality and workplace.
